We are all expecting the government to order us to close for a period of time, as as a consequence of this, there are some tasks the insurance companies may require us to do; Turn off gas supplies, drain down heating systems, turn off water etc.
Normally when a premises closes for business and is empty the insurance cover only lasts 30 days, I will be liasing with the insurance brokers to see if these restrictions will apply during these exceptional times.
